I have all the symptoms you have talked about I was going to hospital I’m completely fused. I was discharged from the hospital and cope on my own now as they’re really not interested
Ugh, I’m so sorry this happened to you. It’s maddening when folks are discharged without any support resources or referrals. Consider joining our free virtual meetups and sign up at http://www.lssupport.net/connect
Hi Jaclyn
I’m 66 and have all the symptoms except pelvic floor issues. Lol where were you 35 years ago. 😆 Diagnosed at 30 and told, sorry, there’s no cure.
Thank you for shedding a light on these subjects for women, like me, who didn’t know where to go for help. I learn something new with each video. My LS journey would have been so different if I’d had someone like you in my corner back then.
Thank you so much
Judy
Hi, Judy.
Yes, this is so common for folks to just get “there’s no cure, here’s some steroids”, and no education or information and resources about sexual health. We are trying to find folks earlier now so they can get all of the information and education and support upfront.
I am using a steroid ointment since 2019 and now I will take more time to apply.
I also have a swollen gland near my vagina and was told by my family doctor that it may not go away. I am concerned about it.
Can u tell me which specialist to see for swollen glands?
Thx
Hi, Caroll. Thanks for reading and commenting. Unfortunately, I’m not a doctor and cannot diagnose, treat, or give medical advice, but it could be a Bartholin’s cyst. You could see a gynecologist or dermatologist for this. They should be able to let you know what is going on. With love,
