Introduction
In this video, we are going to discuss lichen sclerosus and period products. This video isn't evidence-based; there are no research articles on which period products are better or worse for LS. Instead, this video is based on anecdotes; I draw on wisdom from the LS community and my personal experience with menstrual products. I share what to avoid, and review each type of period product. I also share some tips and tricks for LS while on your period.

Would love to learn more about periods and flares. I haven’t had issues in the past but have recently been having issues with flares during my period since I am recovering from a big flare. Curious is birth control can help and what others do.
We recently released a video on hormones where the doctor answers this specific question. Check it out on YouTube here. https://youtu.be/o5gTLNL9LNU?t=592
