My special guest is Penny Petersson
You can catch a glimpse of Penny's infectious spirit on her Instagram page, @wellbeingbypenny, where she makes us smile by calling out the struggles of living with LS and pelvic health issues.
This is Penny Petersson's story:
Penny Petersson was just 19 years old when she was diagnosed with Lichen Sclerosis, a condition that would change her life forever. Now, at 33, she has years of experience living with the condition and has also developed overactive pelvic floor dysfunction.
To help others going through similar struggles with pelvic health, Penny began teaching yoga for overactive pelvic floor dysfunction and found both solace and purpose in doing so. Realizing the limitations of Instagram in sharing her message, she felt drawn to the world of podcasting, where she could expand on her thoughts and experiences.
Despite battling perfectionism and imposter syndrome, Penny pushed through her fears and launched the Pelvic Power Podcast. With this platform, she hopes to empower others on their journey to better pelvic health and wellness by sharing her insights, stories, and interviews with experts in the field.
In this episode, you will be able to:
- Uncover the benefits of a holistic approach to pelvic health and well-being.
- Delve into the power of the pelvic area for effective pain management.
- Create a strong network of support for those dealing with pelvic pain.
- Realize the potential of living your best life despite chronic conditions.
